Milk, Bread, & Eggs, Oh My!

So Winter Storm Jonas is on its way and that means the grocery store shelves are missing 3 items-

-Bread

-Milk

-Eggs

I personally have always wanted to make sure that I have plenty of coffee in the house but these three staples always seem to get picked up right away.

I have found 5 recipes that use these three ingredients as the main ingredients that you can make while stuck inside this weekend. At the bottom I have included a bonus recipe too.

French Toast Sticks – What toddler (and adult) doesn’t love finger food that you get to dip!

As You Like it Casserole – Great dish that can be modified to suit the needs and taste buds of your family. Also not just for breakfast this can make a good brunch or dinner casserole with the right ingredients.

French Toast Casserole – Don’t feel like slaving over the stove making individual French Toasts make it in a casserole and enjoy breakfast with your family versus in the kitchen.

Hot Chocolate Bread Pudding – What is better than hot chocolate in your glass but hot chocolate that you can dig your spoon into.

Classic Bread Pudding - If the hot chocolate version is too sweet or rich for you here is the classic recipe.

While all these recipes are great anytime I come in from shoveling I want something to drink to warm me up. This crockpot hot chocolate is great to put on first thing in the morning and allow to simmer all day.

What do you enjoy doing on a snowy day?
