Have A Party, Save A Life

In an instant

Your heart starts racing.

You are breathing faster.

Your palms get sweaty.

All this in response to seeing a loved one experiencing a medical emergency.

The same response to stress that caused the response above also make your thoughts sharper. If properly trained you can respond to the situation and help make a difference.

Many people I have spoken to have expressed a desire to learn skills that may make a difference in an emergency. However, I have heard just as many excuses as to why people have not taken a training.

“The courses are too long.”

“I don’t know where to find a class.”

“I cannot find childcare.”

“I never find anything that works with my schedule.”

“Do I really need it?”

“Will it really prepare me?”

“I was trained 5, 10, 20 years ago, I should be good.”

At Crossroads Birth Services we strive to make these excuses non-existent. We are trained to bring CPR and First Aid training to you on your schedule. This can be a stand-alone service or added on to our labor or postpartum doula services.

Here is the response from a mother who recently was trained with us:

We work with you to determine the training you want to have. There are courses as short as 2 hours and by bringing the course to you there is no need to arrange for childcare. You can invite grandparents, family, or friends; you can make a party of it if you want!

You never know when an emergency is going to occur. Our hands on training provide you with the practice and knowledge you need to respond to an emergency. However, it is suggested that all levels of training are renewed every 2 years. This provides you with the most up to date information and helps you renew your confidence in your skills.

We take care of the training and supplies, you just need to have a desire to learn. We even try and make it as fun as possible.

Contact us today to talk about your needs and how to set up a class for you.
